Hiking Trails And Picnic Areas
All year round, visitors enjoy scenic hiking trails and various picnic spots throughout Artpark. The park is open from dawn until dusk and is free to enter. Click here for park map or click here for a trails map.
Upper Trails
The Upper Gorge Trail offers a gradual climb to the top where it meets up with the rim trail that crosses the Power Plant to Devil's Hole State Park, traveling underneath the Lewiston - Queenston Bridge.
The River's Edge Trail provides access to fishing by two staircases.
Enter Artpark at Portage Road, when you reach Parking Lot B, take the gravel road down to the small parking area. Both upper trails start here.
Lower Trails
The Woods Trail winds through the Historic Woods at Artpark. Enjoy viewing various sculptures and historic sites while traveling this trail.
The River Trail, leads down to the riverside behind the Art Gallery. A popular spot for fishermen.
To access Lower Trails, please use 4th Street entrance and park in Lot D. The entrance to The Woods trail is immediately following the toll booth. The River Trail starts behind the Art Gallery, which is adjacent to the Mainstage Theater.
