Artpark Fairy House Festival
Join us for the 15th Annual Artpark Fairy House Festival on Saturday, July 12 from 11AM to 3PM!
The fairies have gathered once again to play, laugh and frolic in the forest and along the river at Artpark. Many have come here to build their extraordinary homes and houses in the woods. Behold, this year a troupe of fairies has inquired, just what dances do the humans do? What music do they make? How do they celebrate? And so it is that this summer humans from all over the world have come together to celebrate as humans do with their dances, music and treasured traditions to showcase to the fairies that they too can make merry. The fairies have used their elemental magic to charm and transport these humans from their distant lands, bringing them all together in this Niagara forest where many cultures can celebrate.
Hidden gems, fantastic fruit and fairy enchantment satchels must be found before the festival is through in order to bring the humans back to their homes. Come ready to help us find these lost treasures, share your traditions with the fairies and bask in the glow of their fairy glamour as all bring fantasy and delight.
Set in Artpark’s Lower Park, the Fairy House Festival is an event filled with hands-on art activities and featuring a woodland tour of numerous Fairy Houses locally designed and built by professional Artists, families and community groups. Park in Lot B and try to arrive between 10:15 and 10:30am, so you don't miss the Dragon Parade starting promptly at 11am! Follow the Dragon, humans and fairies down the Red Brick Road to delight in Artpark’s 15th annual Fairy House Festival. Purchase Mystical wares at the Mythic Market Place. Hear an enchanting harp drifting through the woods and listen to stories at the Storytelling Place. Mix magical potions, welcome fairies into your home by making fairy doors, become a fairy wearing wings or a mushroom hat, get your face painted or sip some fairy tea. All ages can delight in dancing with bubbles and wondering through the woods to find Fairy Houses.
Advance tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for kids. Discount $40 family four packs are available until Friday, July 11 at 11:59PM.
Get tickets at the Artpark Box Office (Open Friday 10AM to 4PM & Saturday at the upper box office during the event) & on ticketmaster.com.
