2025 Strawberry Moon Festival
Celebrating Renewal, Generosity & Connection
Join us on Saturday, June 21, 2025 from 12 PM to 4 PM at Artpark for a vibrant and immersive afternoon of music, dance, storytelling, cultural teachings, workshops, and Indigenous artistry.
Celebrating the teachings of the Strawberry Moon, this year’s festival embraces the theme of renewal, generosity, and connection, inviting people of all ages to experience the richness of Indigenous culture.
Notes on traffic & parking: Center Street will be closed on June 21st for the Lewiston Garden Festival. To reach Artpark's Lower Park (South 4th Street entrance) for the event, we suggest accessing South 4th St. either via Cayuga St. or Seneca St.
The mesmerizing Smoke Dance Competition will once again bring excitement to the festival. Dancers — from tiny tots to adults — will captivate audiences with their grace, agility, speed, and storytelling through movement. With dazzling footwork and vibrant regalia, this competition remains a festival highlight.
Enjoy performances by Hoops of Hope & Resilience and the Six Nations Women Singers, horn rattle demonstrations by Tahatie Montour, brain tanning demonstrations by Jodi Lynn Maracle, and more.
The Indigenous Artisan Market will be a vibrant celebration of artistry, culture, and tradition, featuring makers from across Turtle Island. This highly anticipated event brings together some of the most talented Indigenous artists, designers, and craftspeople, offering an unparalleled selection of handcrafted jewelry, pottery, beadwork, textiles, fine art, and contemporary fashion.
More than just a market, this event is a gathering of culture and creativity — a place where visitors can connect with artists, hear the stories behind their work, and take home authentic, one-of-a-kind pieces. Live demonstrations, cultural performances, and culinary experiences will offer an immersive journey into Indigenous traditions and contemporary expressions.
