Music in the Woods
The 2020 season took on special significance for both artists and audiences. The outdoor setting allowed for social-distancing and provided rare public performance opportunities for musicians who have been greatly impacted by COVID-19 and the suspension of most in-person concerts. Artpark audiences eager for live music also relished the opportunity. All concerts reached capacity quickly in advance with extensive waitlists. And all the jazz artists graciously added second sets to their performance to accomodate more attendees.
All concerts were also live streamed and reached thousands more music-lovers.

This delightful and unique Baroque program with a theatrical flare featured an eight-piece ensemble led by music director Moshe Shulman with some of the best area musicians, special guest pianist Sergei Dreznin, soprano Colleen Marcello Brecker, performer Phil Wackerfuss, and a very special costume creation by artist Uta Bekaia.
