WNY Arts & Design Forum

October 24 at 6pm
Frank Lloyd Wright's Martin House Complex - Education Center (125 Jewett Parkway)
Buffalo, NY

Artpark Master Plan team: SO-IL, West 8 and CharcoalBlue, Artpark’s Executive Director, Sonia Kozlova Clark, moderators Jordan Geiger and Omar Khan of Studio Gekh, with additional speakers will discuss Artpark’s current vision for the development of park grounds, facilities and the visual arts programming as part of its long-term development plan.

The team encourages the public, especially members of the art & design community to attend and welcomes input as part of the process.

Artpark has historically served as a venue for artistic experimentation in land, environmental and the performing arts. Constructed with spoils from the building of the Robert Moses Niagara Power Plant, Artpark is a unique example of an artificial landscape that is the direct result of industrialization and the advent of hydroelectric power. As a part of the history of power generation, it provides an ideal venue to explore the future of the environment and humanity's role in its maintenance and destruction.

Space is limited to 50, please RSVP attendance to [email protected]

Guests arriving at the Martin House at 125 Jewett Parkway will enter at the front door of the house, where the host will direct to the Education Center.
