Recording both as Parliament and Funkadelic, George Clinton revolutionized R&B during the ’70s, twisting soul music into funk by adding influences of Jimi Hendrix, Frank Zappa, and Sly Stone. The Parliament/Funkadelic machine captured over 40 R&B hit singles (including three number ones) and released three platinum-selling albums.

Since forming in 1994, Galactic’s sound has evolved from organic New Orleans funk to a more modern style, incorporating elements of hip hop, electronica, fusion, and jazz.

Founded in 1979, Fishbone quickly claimed their spot at the table with 1983 fan favorites like “Party at Ground Zero” and “Ugly. ” In 1988, “Freddie’s Dead” became the band’s first big hit on MTV. The influential band mixes ska, punk, funk, heavy rock and soul.
Miss Velvet and the Blue Wolf takes the listener on a journey back to the days of psychedelic rock and epic rock vocals. The band has accompanied George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic on tour dates across the US and Europe since 2017.
