Artpark 2011 Summer Camps- Ready to Rock
Highly successful Rock Camp returns
(Lewiston, NY) The highly successful Rock Camp (July 25-30, $250) returns to bring out the inner rock star in young guitarists, bassists, and keyboardists. No drummer applications can be considered for this year’s camp. Former Executive Director for the Music School of Niagara, Randy Andropolis will take the lead once again as Rock Camp Director, urging campers to develop their musicianship skills.
The camp will focus on many different elements including rhythm, lead, slide, acoustic, bass, and keyboard styles. Campers will participate in individual ensembles, small groups, a combined band, and even a rock orchestra! Enrollment requires a minimum of two years experience on instrument(s).Campers will rock out with a final performance on July 30 at 2pm as an exciting part of Free Family Saturdays and the Niagara Wine Trail Wine and Culinary Festival!
Rock Camp is suitable for ages 12-18 and takes place Monday through Friday from 9am to 4pm. Enrollment is limited as one-on-one instruction is emphasized. Full payment is due upon registration. Lewiston residents receive 10% off camp fees!
