Artpark Shakes Things Up in 2010!

Venue offering special ticket discount in honor of Elvis Presley's 75^th Birthday!

Lewiston, NY- With a reputation as a place that really knows how to rock - Artpark has announced a 2010 Broadway Musical show that's sure to bring the house down! The venue will present the regional premiere of "All Shook Up," a romantic comedy inspired by and featuring the songs of Elvis Presley in the Mainstage Theater August 12- 22, 2010. The story is all new - the hits are all Elvis!

Based on the book by Joe DiPietro, "All Shook Up" is a romantic comedy jukebox musical with the songs that made Elvis famous and an amusing tangled-tale of mismatched lovers inspired by Shakespeare's "Twelfth Night." Chock full of laughs and nostalgia, "All Shook Up" is pure energetic fun from beginning to end!

Shakespeare meets James Dean, all set to the music of Elvis Presley. It's 1955 in Middle America, and one girl's wish and a surprise visit from a mysterious leather-jacketed, guitar-playing stranger will lead a small town to discover the magic of romance and the power of rock & roll!

"All Shook Up" presents a story with the twists and turns of mismatched lovers incorporating 24 Elvis classics that range from sweet romantic ballads like "Love Me Tender" to the rollicking "Devil in Disguise." Not to mention other hits like "Jailhouse Rock," "Blue Suede Shoes," "Can't Help Falling in Love," and "Don't be Cruel." "All Shook Up" opens at Artpark's Mainstage Theater with eleven rockin' performances August 12 through 22, 2010. Performances will run Thursday & Friday at 8PM, Saturday at 2PM & 8PM, Sunday at 2PM.
