Theatreworks USA's Jim West returns to the Artpark stage to deliver a spring field-trip friendly theatrical adaptation Rudyard Kipling's classic story "How the Elephant Got His Trunk" (Also known as "The Elephant's Child"), the tale of a very curious little elephant who soon discovers that having a long trunk can be a wonderful thing. Parents Choice Award winner, Jim West has been entertaining and educating children for more than 20 years. He was featured in the Metropolitan Opera's production of Manon and has appeared on "Mister Rodgers' Neighborhood" and has performed nationally before hundreds of thousands of children.
