
Families flock to Artpark for hours of hands-on discovery and fun with weekly themed workshops which include traditional art activities like pottery, face-painting, the colorful 'costume closet' and so much more!
There is no parking fee and families are encouraged to picnic in the park at unique artist-created picnic tables
(no on-site concessions will be available for purchase, restroom facilities will be open).

A variety of "Make and Take" workshops are available at each and every installment of Family Saturdays- no matter the theme. These other imagination stations include, The Paint Space, Costume Closet, Sand Box, Face Painting, and the Pottery Wheel. Please note: children must be 4 feet or taller to throw pottery on the wheel. Hand-building and other clay molding tools are available for children under 4 feet.
Artpark's Upper park can be accessed via the Portage Road entrance (walk down the red brick road) or through the South 4th Street entrance nearest the Mainstage Theater (walk up the red brick road).
