Fairy House Tour: View over 100 tiny fairy house creations throught the gardens and green spaces of Artpark! Built by local school groups, scout troops, community organizations and families the fairy houses on the tour will be juried and 3 prizes will be awarded by 1:00 the day of the festival!
Hands-On Art Activities: Families may partake in a variety of creative 'make and take' art activities at the Fairy House Festival! Make your own wings, crowns, wizard hats and wands; potion lab; silk screen your own take-home t-shirt; fairy or gnome figurines.
Meet Children's Book Author Tracy Kane: Tracy Kane's popular "Fairy Houses" children's book series serves as the inspriation for Artpark's annual festival. Tracy will be on-site to meet & greet all Fairy fans and will have her books available for purchase.

Make a wish! The Wishing Tree is a popular destination at the Fairy House Festival. Families leave their wishes for The Fairy Queen.
The Fairy House Tour consists of over 200 houses built by families, schools, scouts and community groups on display throughout the woods and gardens of Artpark. New this year, Artpark will jury and award 3 winners! ($100 1st Place, $75 2nd Place, and $50 3rd Place) See below for registration info.
In addition to the Fairy House Tour, a special Fairy House Exhibit will feature houses built by regional artists on display at Artpark the day of the festival through June 30. The Carnegie Art Center will jury the artist designs and select a number of houses, including 3 GRAND PRIZE Winners (One $300 grand prize and two $100 honorable mention prizes) to be on exhibit in the museum.
The 2013 Fairy House Festival Artist Exhibit is full, registration is now closed. If you are an artist that would like to submit a house for next year's exhibit, please contact Katie Miller at [email protected] to be added to our Fairy House mailing list!
Registration for the 2013 Fairy House Tour is now closed, but please come to the Festival to view the houses in the tour and visit the "Build Your Own Fairy House" activity in the woods!
