O.A.R.'s fifth live album, Live on Red Rocks, was recorded on July 15, 2012 at the historic Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, CO. Broadcasted live on AXS TV on the night of the performance, the two and a half hour performance showcases the band on their fourth night of their 'Summer Crush Tour', in their element, performing on stage in front of a packed house.  Shot in High Definition, the twenty two song performance contains the band's hits including "Shattered," "Heaven," and "Love and Memories" along with fan favorites like "Black Rock" and "That Was a Crazy Game of Poker" and rarely played live tracks "Irish Rose" and "Program Director."  Separating itself from the band's previous live releases, Live on Red Rocks is the first live album to include a horn section (trumpet, tuba, and trombone) that has joined the band on the road the past two summers.

Included with the Live on Red Rocks DVD is a 40 minute documentary, Standing on a Burning Hot Sun, which takes a look at what makes a summer concert the ideal music experience for both band and fan.  Filmed throughout the course of the band's summer tour, the documentary includes the debut of "Inside Out," a brand new O.A.R. song.
