JoAnn Falletta leads the BPO in a program including Prokofiev's Romeo and Juliet (excerpts) and Khachaturian's Adagio from Spartacus and Phrygia. One of her generation's most celebrated pianists, Cecile Licad, is featured in Rachmaninoff's heroic Third Piano Concerto.

Pre-Show Talks

The Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra and Buffalo Society of Artists are teaming up to present music and art talks one hour before every BPO Summerfest concert at Artpark!

 

Talks, which will be focused on each evening's concert theme, will take place in the Artpark Gallery, located adjacent to the entrance of the Mainstage Theater.
