Robert Franz opens the BPO's Artpark season in an exciting concert version of Gershwin's Porgy & Bess featuring acclaimed soloists Alison Buchanan and Leonard Rowe and the New Beginnings Choral Ensemble. Other works include Gershwin's Girl Crazy Overture and I Got Rhythm Variations featuring pianist Kevin Cole, returning to Artpark after his stunning Gershwin performance last summer.

Pre-Show Talks

The Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra and Buffalo Society of Artists are teaming up to present music and art talks one hour before every BPO Summerfest concert at Artpark!

 

Talks, which will be focused on each evening's concert theme, will take place in the Artpark Gallery, located adjacent to the entrance of the Mainstage Theater.
